Twitter Newbies: "They are on there, but don't know where to start"

I see why many people just don't get Twitter.  

1. They don't care, and don't know where start
   
2. They want to care, but don't know where to start
   
3. They are on there, but don't know where to start

He also is testing out TwitterFon and Tweetie.

So really, its education of Twitter that needs to be put in place.  

How many professors out there are using Twitter?  Or High School Teacher for that matter!
